Privacy.
This public website has no visitor accounts, payments or first-party analytics. It does collect limited information when you send a collaboration enquiry and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site.
Who operates this website
This website is operated by Miss Nova Starr in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Privacy questions, access or correction requests and complaints can be sent to naughty@missnovastarr.com.
Information you choose to send
The collaboration form collects your name, email address, professional role, location, portfolio or professional profile, proposed concept and, if you provide them, timing and budget. The required fields are marked on the form. If you do not provide them, the website cannot send your pitch.
This information is used to assess, respond to and manage your enquiry; check that a proposal fits Nova’s published boundaries; arrange a production or appearance if accepted; and keep appropriate business, consent or dispute records.
Technical information and the R18 acknowledgement
When a form is submitted, the server processes the submitting IP address in temporary memory to limit spam and abuse. These rate-limit entries expire after one hour. Web-server and security logs may also record an IP address, time, requested page and browser information for site security and operations.
After you confirm that you are 18 or older, this website stores the confirmation time in your browser’s local storage for 30 days. It is not sent with the collaboration form and is not used for advertising. You can remove it by clearing this website’s stored browser data.
Service providers and overseas processing
The website is hosted by DigitalOcean and collaboration emails are delivered using Mailtrap. These providers may process information outside Australia or New Zealand under their own privacy and security arrangements. Read the DigitalOcean privacy policy and Mailtrap privacy policy.
If you select a language other than English, the page is delivered through Google Translate. Google may receive technical information and the page content needed to provide that translation. Avoid placing sensitive information in a translated form if you do not want it processed by Google, or switch back to English before submitting. Read Google’s privacy policy.
Retention and disclosure
Collaboration emails are normally deleted within 24 months after the final interaction unless a proposal becomes an active engagement, a longer period is required by law, or the information is needed for consent, safety, accounting or dispute records. Information is not sold. It may be disclosed to service providers supporting the website, professional advisers, or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where it is not necessary to retain the information. Email the address above with enough detail to identify the enquiry. Identity may need to be confirmed before information is released. A privacy complaint will be investigated and answered within a reasonable time.
Security and external platforms
Reasonable access controls, encrypted web connections and data minimisation are used, but no website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Links to social, subscription and community platforms take you to third-party services governed by their own privacy terms.
Changes
This notice may change as the website or its services change. The updated date above shows the current version.
